Smart Sensing Snake Toy

Cat loves his snake toy. It really helps keep him occupied. Hair and fibers from the ground can get wrapped up in the wheels and slow down the speed. You can try to remove the hair by unscrewing the head and picking it out, but it's really hard to do. When putting the head back on it's easy to sever the tiny wires. With a medium length hair cat, sometimes the wheels will get caught in his tail, so only use it when supervised. The concept is great and it's so different than any other toy.

Cat loves this toy. Eyes glow red, terrific swaying movement and fast! Object sensors, backs up if it hits a chair or table leg. Runs fully charged for about 15 minutes. Only operable on non-carpeted surfaces.

This toy is great value—it's still working perfectly to this day despite regular use. The battery charge lasts a surprisingly long time, which is a big plus. My cat is only sometimes interested in it, but when she does play, she enjoys it. Overall, it's a solid purchase for the price.

The toy is not able to navigate from a flat carpet to the floor—the front wheels just hang over the edge. It does not navigate well on any floor that isn't absolutely flat; tile floors with large grout areas seem to be a problem. When it does work, the cats are fascinated by it. Keep it away from beds or any other furniture it might go under, or it might get stuck or lost. There is no remote control.

My cat loves this. It only works on hardwood or tile floors; it might work on very low pile carpet but I don't have one to test. It's good at sensing if the cat gets bored and powers down into standby mode, then powers back up if the cat comes near again. It turns around when it comes to obstacles but can't sense stairs so it blindly tumbles down. If kitty is shedding, fur gets wrapped around the axles slowing the wheels so you have to pick it out with tweezers. Other than that, it's one of kitty's favorite pastimes.

My 1 year old cat loves this. I have not had the issues others have complained about. I've had it for 2 months and just now cleaned a small amount of hair from the wheels. It continues to charge well. It does get hung up on some things, but for the joy it brings it's worth it. I'm amazed at the things it does avoid—for instance it won't go under my entertainment center even though there's no specific barrier there.
